Prayer Room Open Letter
Asalaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
After a semester of activities directed towards increasing access to the prayer rooms for the brothers and sisters, we would like everyone to be aware of what progress has been made.
Insha'Allah from the beginning of next semester, the prayer rooms will be left open from 11-7 (extending gradually over the summer), with sisters having complete access to their room during these times.
Prayer Room About
The Islamic Society has no official offices or anything of the sort. We gravitate around the prayer rooms and think this best defines us. You will find that information about events and about the Islamic Society are posted in and around the prayer rooms. This more than anything else points to the nature of the Isoc; it is a shared experience and something which comes into being through the collective efforts of many, making it real only when we engage with it.
