Queen Mary University of London Islamic Society is split into a small number of teams governed by the brothers and sisters admitted to their positions at the beginning of each year. The Shurah consists of those brothers who run the administration of the ISoc and who can be turned to for any query that you may have.

The Shurah overlook the general working of the ISoc to make sure that it is running efficiently. The teams are then split up according to their job. To join a specific team, please speak to the respective Team Leader.

Admin Team:-

This team, deals with the general administration of the Islamic Society. This includes room bookings, secretarial work and making sure everything is up on time and the way it is meant to be. They are a highly efficient group of brothers, so if you think you would fit the bill then don't hesitate to join!

Advertising Team:-

Art fanatics, design insanity or what-have-you, these brothers love what they do and always want to do more! Specialising in any design software package to help our direct communication with the outside world, this group is at the forefront of getting our events and activities to the masses. Sense of style and being able to manage your time well are key characteristics of this team. We're always looking for new talent, so if you have the drive you only need the opportunity!

Tech Team:-

Mainly dealing with the Website and IT side of the ISoc, the Tech Team are usually the most important for our modern lives! Whether it's recording lectures or getting the latest technology to be of use to the Muslims on campus, these brothers are at the cutting-edge of society.

Da'wah Team:-

Da'wah; an obligation upon us as a group of individuals. The Da'wah Team is by far the largest Team of the ISoc, this year comprising over 10 brothers and sisters. If you feel you have the knowledge and the communication skills to spread the Religion of Allaah Subhaanahu wa ta'allaa to those that are ignorant of it, then by all means the reward is great!
